How Much Do Hardwired Commercial Security Cameras Cost?
Hardwired security camera cost for parts and labor range widely, but here at Viper Security we try to make it simple for our customers.
It is important to note that we do not compete with camera systems you can buy online, these DIY camera systems are not the same as the cameras we install. Online DIY camera kits start at just a few hundred dollars, but we do not sell, or install them. Nor do we install cameras that were purchased from another vendor in most cases, unless its a professional brand security camera. We consider these on a case-by-case basis.
The cost to install a security camera that we sell is between $250-$400 per camera. This is the labor cost to run the Ethernet wires from your commercial tech room, or where the router or recorder is located, to the security camera installation point. The price also includes mounting and aiming the camera and installing the camera in your recorder or camera management software. Please note that there are so many systems out there that some will cost more or less than the price quoted, again, this is a route price
The cost for each camera starts at $375 and goes up from there.
The cost for a professional grade security camera recorder ranges between $2.600-$6,800 in most cases. While a recorder isn’t always needed, we do recommend them so that the video is stored at your location
Using the approximate costs to install commercial security cameras above, here are some rough quotes on security camera installations:
- 4 security cameras installed $2,800 (no recorder, approx. parts and labor)
- Recorder plus 4 cameras installed $5,500 (approx parts and labor)
- Recorder plus 8 cameras installed $8,600 (approx parts and labor)
